Is the Military Exchange System seeking specific types of products?
Army & Air Force Exchange, Navy Exchange, Marine Corps Exchange, and Coast Guard Exchange are excited to join forces to find products Made in America to carry in one or more of their retail branches. These qualities include innovative, entrepreneurial, unique, great value, high quality, representing the USA, etc.
Are there certain types of products that the Military Exchange System does not sell and that should not be submitted?

● All products must be FTC compliant for Made in America
What is RangeMe, and why am I directed there to submit my products?
The Military Exchange System partnered with RangeMe to gather all applications for the 2023 Made in America campaign applications. Only items submitted on RangeMe during the application period will be considered.
Does my product need to be manufactured before I submit my application?
The Military Exchange System requires manufactured goods before submission.
Will the Military Exchange System help me manufacture my idea?
The Military Exchange System does not assist inventors and entrepreneurs with manufacturing.
Is there a fee to submit?
No, the Military Exchange System does not charge for product evaluation. Virtual meetings hosted through ECRM Connect have a $300 registration fee by ECRM for administrative and support in the preparation and execution of the meeting.
May I speak with a buyer to discuss my product?
Due to the volume of product submissions, buyers cannot speak directly with applicants. You will be contacted directly by a buying team member if they are interested in discussing your product further.
Completing Your Submission Application
Can I submit my product via email, fax, or US mail?
No, all product submissions must be completed electronically through RangeMe directly at www.rangeme.com/exchangemadeinamerica
Where do I ship my samples?
If a Buyer wants to learn more about your product upon review of your submission application, they will reach out directly on RangeMe to discuss the need for samples, including the quantity and where to ship them. We cannot guarantee that your samples will be returned to you.
Do you have any tips on completing my product submission?
Ensure you provide a complete and accurate description of your product and product line.
Additionally, we want to hear your story, so be sure to fill out your brand profile so buyers can learn more about your brand. Explain why/how your brand and products set you apart from the competition to be considered in the category you are applying for.
Can I save a partially completed application to edit at a later time?
Yes, if you exit your partially completed submission, you can edit your DRAFT and complete your entry under the “My Submissions” tab of your submission page. You WILL NOT be able to make any edits to your submission once it has been submitted.
Can I change my application after I submit it?
Updates to your RangeMe profile will be reflected after a submission is complete; however, you cannot edit any answers to submission questions. We recommend ensuring your details are accurate and complete before submitting.
How will I know if my application was successfully submitted?
You will receive an automated email from RangeMe immediately following your submission confirming receipt of your application. If you do not see the email after you’ve submitted, be sure to check your Spam or Junk folder.
Which web browser should I use?
RangeMe recommends using the most current version of the Chrome browser for an optimal experience.
Will the Military Exchange System enter into a Non-Disclosure Agreement for my product submission?
No, neither company will enter into a Non-Disclosure Agreement or otherwise have any obligation to maintain the secrecy of any products or materials you submit.
After You Submit
How do I know if my application was successfully submitted?
You will receive an automated email from the product submission website confirming receipt of your application.
Please check your spam/junk folder, as the email is sometimes caught there.
You can also review your submission on the RangeMe platform by going to Submissions > Manage Submissions > Limited-Time Submissions.
How long will it take to receive a response from the Military Exchange System regarding my product submission? What are the next steps?
Due to the high volume of submissions, the Military Exchange System teams or RangeMe cannot provide status updates via email or telephone. You will receive an email notifying you whether your product has been selected as a finalist in this search by June 1, 2023. Virtual meetings will take place the week of July 17, 2023.
Can I resubmit a product?
Once you have heard back from us regarding the Made in America campaign, you cannot resubmit. However, if you have another product in the future that you think would be a good fit for the Military Exchange System, please feel free to submit it through RangeMe to each Exchange Service you are interested in working with.
Can I still submit if I am not a good fit for Made in America?
If your products do not qualify for complying with the Made In USA Standard according to the FTC https://www.ftc.gov/tips-advice/business-center/guidance/complying-made-usa-standard, please do not submit for consideration for this campaign. You can still submit for consideration to each Exchange Service by going to their relative websites and visiting their “Doing Business” pages that link to RangeMe as part of their broader inbound submission process.
