Inbound Submissions is a streamlined workflow that allows you to manage new supplier submissions more effectively. As a Participating Buyer, you will be assigned specific product entries to review based on your category focus. Use this guide to learn how to navigate your dashboard, evaluate supplier data, and process submissions for consideration.
Getting Started
To access your assigned submissions:
- Navigate to the Campaigns tab at the top of your profile.
- Locate the Inbound Submissions section.
- Click the blue View Campaign button in your Inbound Submissions section to begin.
Note: Category Selection when accessing for the first time
If this is your first time accessing this Inbound Submissions campaign, you will be required to confirm your categories via a pop-up window. Depending on how your Admins set up this campaign, you will see one of the following:
- Set your Campaign Categories: These are custom categories set by your organization. Selecting categories here will only filter what you see within this particular campaign. Suppliers who submit to this campaign will be required to select a matching category for each of their products.
- Confirm your RangeMe Categories: These are the categories your account is subscribed to. Updating these will change what you see across the entire RangeMe platform.
Navigating the Submissions Dashboard
Once inside the campaign, you will see a list of brands awaiting your review. Some important things to highlight:
- Pending Tab: This is your primary workspace. It lists all submissions assigned to you that require a decision by a due date.
- You will also have access to your Messaged, Declined, and Total Submissions tabs. These tabs will contain all previous submissions made.
- Countdown Timers: Each submission displays a timer showing the days remaining to review before it expires.
- Timers are based on the review period set for your submission by your Admins
- If a submission is not reviewed and actioned in time, it will be automatically declined
- Filtering & Search: Use the included filters to finetune your submissions, or use the search bar to find specific brands.
- Note: If your organization has specified qualifying criteria, you will see a Qualified filter that may be on by default.
Reviewing a Submission
When you are ready to begin reviewing a submission, click View Submission to begin reviewing a brand.
1. The Review Interface
The page is split to help you digest information quickly:
- Left Side (Product Selection): Displays individual products included in the submission.
- Right Side (Submission Details): Displays the supplier's answers to your organization's questions.
2. Review the Submission Response Tabs
Navigate between these tabs on the right side for a complete picture:
- Brand Questions: The supplier’s responses to your submission questions.
- Product Questions & Product Details: Specifics, pricing, and more data for the products listed on the left.
- Comments (Internal Only): Use this tab to collaborate with your team. Suppliers cannot see these comments. You can view feedback left by other buyers here.
Taking Action
Once ready, you can make decisions on products individually or action multiple products at once. You are able to perform one of these two actions on each product by checking the box for that product, then selecting the action.
Messaging a Supplier
If you are interested in a product or would like to get in touch for more information:
- Messaging: Click the Message All button, or select multiple product(s) and click Message.
- Choose a Template: Select a pre-written response to populate the message box. Each template will apply its corresponding green status for you to easily identify which you selected.
- Note: To create a custom template, please get in touch with your Admin or Account Manager. Templated messages are shared with all other buyers in your organization.
- Customize & Send: Edit the template text as needed. Click Send to notify the supplier, and the submission will move to your Messaged submissions tab.
Declining a Submission
If the product is not a fit at this time:
- Select the product(s) and click Decline.
- If all products in a submission are declined, the brand will automatically move to your Declined tab.
Track Your Progress
Once you select a response, a green or red status is applied to the selected products accordingly. This allows you to easily identify which response was used where. Remember that actinos other buyers also made are visible to you in the comments tab of the submission.
If you’ve made atleast one a positive response on a product, you will find it in your Messaged submissions tab.

You don’t need to go back to the main dashboard every time. Use the blue arrows at the top of the page to navigate directly to the next pending submission in your queue.
