Millions of Canadians rely on Walmart Canada’s everyday low prices, one-stop shop assortment, and convenient omnichannel shopping experience. To better serve customers and the needs of Canada’s growing communities, we’re always looking for ways to strengthen our assortment and collaborate with Canadian businesses.
The 2026 Walmart Canada Growth Summit will take place on June 23, 2026.
The Walmart Canada Growth Summit is an opportunity to bring the Canadian seller and business community together and provide the resources they need to grow with Walmart Canada, with sessions focused on better understanding Walmart’s ecosystem and accelerating their business with Walmart.
This unique event welcomes small- and medium-sized Canadian businesses, including Marketplace sellers, to Mississauga, Ontario to connect directly with Walmart Canada’s Merchandising and Marketplace teams and explore opportunities to grow their business in-store and online, including Walmart Canada’s rapidly expanding online Marketplace.
Attendees will benefit from:
- Keynotes from Walmart’s Canadian Leadership Team on merchandising and marketplace strategy and innovation
- Deep dives into new supplier and seller tools, services and fulfillment capabilities
- Networking opportunities with Walmart Canada merchants, Marketplace teams and the Canadian seller and business community
- Practical guidance on expanding assortment and reaching millions of Walmart customers
At the event, select Canadian businesses will also have the opportunity to pitch their ‘Made in Canada’ or ‘Product of Canada’ products* directly to Walmart Canada merchants for a chance to earn a Golden Ticket, representing the opportunity to be listed in-store, online or both.

*Made in Canada and Product of Canada Items must comply with applicable laws, standards, and regulatory guidance, including but not limited to, applicable Competition Bureau Enforcement Guidelines and Canadian Food Inspection Agency Guidelines for "Product of Canada" and "Made in Canada" claims.
Who is eligible to apply for the Walmart Canada Growth Summit?
This event is recommended for all Canadian businesses, including small- or mid-sized, who are interested in becoming a Walmart supplier and/or a seller on the Walmart Canada Marketplace. It is also open for any existing Canadian sellers on any of Walmart’s Marketplaces.
I don’t have any Made In Canada or Product of Canada items. Can I still apply for the event?
Absolutely! If selected to attend, you’ll benefit from our series of executive presentations and informative breakout sessions led by members of Walmart Canada’s Marketplace and Merchandising teams to learn how you can be successful as a Walmart supplier or seller. If you're an existing seller with our Marketplace, we will provide you with tools, insights and opportunities to accelerate growth on Walmart Marketplace.
What is RangeMe and why am I directed to RangeMe.com to apply for the event?
RangeMe is the product discovery and sourcing platform where retailers and suppliers discover, connect and grow their business. Walmart is working with RangeMe to gather applications to attend the event and/or gather submissions for product pitch meetings.
Where is the event taking place?
The 2026 Walmart Canada Growth Summit is being hosted as a live, in-person event in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
When do applications close?
Applications close on May 7, 2026, and those selected to participate in the Summit will be invited by the end of May.

How do I know if I have been selected to attend the event?
You’ll receive an email after the application window is closed. The email will let you know if you’ve been invited to the event and/or if you’ve been approved to pitch your Made in Canada or Product of Canada items to a Walmart Merchant.

Which items and products are being considered for the pitch meetings?
Products from any categories are welcome, but our focus is on Made in Canada and Product of Canada items. Made in Canada and Product of Canada items must comply with applicable laws, standards, and regulatory guidance, including but not limited to, applicable Competition Bureau Enforcement Guidelines and Canadian Food Inspection Agency Guidelines for "Product of Canada" and "Made in Canada" claims.
Are there any categories that won’t be accepted in the application process?
Yes. We do not allow the following categories to apply or pitch their product to buyers.
- Cigarettes/Tobacco
- Pharmaceutical Drugs
- Smoking Accessories
- Animal Health
- Hemp
- Products with ingredients, USPs, description or name that include CBD or cannabis
How do I check to see what item(s) I have submitted?
All items submitted by the supplier can be viewed on the RangeMe platform.
How do I know which of my product(s) have been selected for a pitch meeting?
All companies that submit by the deadline will receive an email confirming their submission after the application period closes. If your product and company meet our criteria, we will extend a meeting invitation, outlining which category and product was selected, if appropriate.
What happens after I submit my attendance confirmation?
You will receive a confirmation email and be included in the communication stream for event attendees.
I submitted more products than those listed in my confirmed meetings. Can I still present those not listed?
Your product pitch should focus on items appropriate for the category for which you are meeting. Please limit your product pitch meetings to the items listed in your confirmed meeting invitation (and any colour/size/style variants that are appropriate for the category listed in the confirmed meeting information).
How many people from my company can attend the Walmart Canada Growth Summit?
Invited companies will be offered the opportunity to include a maximum of two (2) attendees if selected to attend in person.
If I am an existing Canadian Marketplace seller or Walmart supplier, can I apply for the event if I do not have Made In Canada item?
Absolutely! If you are an existing seller with our Marketplace or you are a supplier with Walmart, we will provide you with tools, insights and opportunities to accelerate growth on Walmart Marketplace.
I am an existing Marketplace seller or supplier of Walmart Canada and I do not have Made in Canada items, do I still need to submit items for my application?
You do not need to submit items during your application, you will be asked for business related details instead!
What if I am currently onboarding to Walmart Marketplace Canada, can I still apply?
Yes! Absolutely! If you're a new seller, recently launched or going through onboarding, we want to meet you, and provide you with tools, insights and opportunities to accelerate growth on Walmart Marketplace.
