What is Spotlight? 

Spotlight is a new feature on the brand page that shows buyers similar products to what they are currently viewing on a Basic (free) Supplier page. This helps buyers find products that they are most interested in within the product category they are browsing and also gives RangeMe subscribers enhanced visibility with buyers. 

I’m a Subscriber - How Does My Brand Get Shown? 

We use an algorithm to determine the most relevant brands to surface to buyers in Spotlight, and rotate through all of the brands in the applicable product categories, giving priority in the following order: 

1. RangeMe Premium and Pro, Verified brands
2. RangeMe Premium and Pro, Unverified brands 
3. RangeMe Starter 

Can I Pay to Have My Product Shown in Spotlight More Often? 

No, at this time we show all of the brands in relevant categories. However, the best way to ensure your brand is shown is to subscribe to RangeMe Premium and Pro, and complete your RangeMe Verification™ - those brands are given first priority for Spotlight. 

I Don’t Want Competitive Products Shown on My Page 

Suppliers in the Starter, Premium, and Pro subscriptions will not have any competitive brands or products shown on their page. Basic (free) suppliers will have competitive brands shown in Spotlight on their brand page. Can I See Which Views Come from Spotlight? 

Yes! Under Tools & Insights > Profile Insights, you can see which Profile Views came from Spotlight by looking at the Source column. 

I’m a Free Supplier. Can I See What Spotlight Looks Like on My Page? 

Yes! On your product page, click Preview > Preview Brand Page. 

Once in Preview, scroll down to the bottom of your products and you will see the Spotlight section, where competitive products are shown to buyers.
