When a product is not approved for pricing, you will be notified by email, and your profile will point you to the product details section of the products that were rejected for said pricing.
Product Pricing is a mandatory field that requires a value. Cost is optional to list, but highly recommended, and this field can be left blank if you prefer. MSRP, however, is a required field.
A product's price should not include any shipping or distribution costs, as these are negotiated once a buyer has shown interest in your product.
All details in your product profile are just intended to help inform interested buyers and are ultimately open to negotiation or discussion.
If your product(s) were not approved due to pricing, it is likely due to one of the following reasons:
- Products with a generic $1/$2 Cost/MSRP that don't match the product description
- Products that have a listed $0.01/$0.02 Cost/MSRP
- Product pricing margin is outside of the required 10%-90% range
How to remedy:
To remedy any pricing rejections, all you need to do is edit your product -> head to Product Details -> Product Pricing section of your listing and update the values there. As long as your pricing follows the guidelines above, your item will pass the pricing requirement.
Note - If you offer a Private Label or Customized Product, you will still be required to meet the above expectations. In your case, we recommend setting a base price and adding any additional information in the pricing comments section.
