When a product is not approved for it's name, you will be notified by email, and your profile will point you to the product overview section of the product that was rejected.
If your product(s) name was not approved, it is likely due to one of the following reasons:
- Product Name was not relevant to the product
- Product Name is only a SKU number
- Product Name is a URL
- Product Name is too long
- Product Names are cut off after 30 characters in length
How to remedy:
To remedy a product name rejection, open your product and update the Product Name field to a name that meets the requirements listed above. Ideally, your product name will be relevant and descriptive of your product.
Remember, a buyer will likely be seeing your product image, name, and pricing for the first time, so making a great first impression is a must. Having a name that matches your product image and pricing is the best way to showcase your products.
NOTE FOR PRODUCTS CONTAINING THC: Products containing THC/Delta-9 that are rejected for product name are required to mention they are under the federal 0.3% THC limit. This can be mentioned in either the name, description, or USP fields.
